The key is clear understanding of the goals of our customers. One may note that it is a commonplace. Is there anybody who does not work for their customers’ goals? Our experience shows that this is not exactly the case.
Goals seem to be clear at the beginning, like maximizing a given parameter, being either engagement level of employees, sales and market share maximalisation, customer satisfaction, you name it.
The Opening session, that lasts for an hour (never longer), we make sure that our clients have a clear central goal that can be formulated in one, simple sentence. If the sentence is long or complicated that is an indicator of a fuzzy goal. Fuzzy goal leads to a very diligent activity, getting tired and, finally, to fuzzy results that can be interpreted depending on who reads them. Built on that a set of questions/statements are formulated and the research is commenced.
Quantitative research is done according to widely accepted standards. Even though there are minor tricks differentiating one survey from another. We never claim that we are unique. It is told by our customers, who receive the results.
The typical timescale of a survey is three weeks, from the Opening session till presenting the results. It works.
